Ucelo Martial Arts Phoenix
Ucelo Martial Arts (UMA) was established in 1977 by Grand Master Miguel Ucelo father of Master Kikin (our instructor); we have over 30 years of experience teaching martial arts to children and adults. During all these years we have produced champions in the art as well as in life.
Our school is devoted to tradition; we educate our students with the true purpose and meaning of the martial arts. At UMA we are not interested in just teaching the self-defense aspect of the martial arts, we are interested in the complete personal development of each student. The ultimate goal of our school is to build a better community, one student at a time, one kick at a time...
Ucelo Martial Arts is very rich in techniques and knowledge. We have one of the finest, the only one of its kind system and curriculum ever created in the martial arts world with professional instructors, that will help students develop discipline, fitness and strength of both body and mind.
Whether you are looking for an art, self-defense, a discipline, or a sport, UMA is the right place for you. Let Ucelo Martial Arts be your "Way of Life."
WHAT WE BELIEVE all students
* Have the power to learn
* Are curious & creative
* Can succeed
No two students have exactly the same skills or learning style. That’s why we evaluate each and every single one individually and progress should be understood is not in group. We offer private classes in all of our programs to help our students meet their needs.
We would like to welcome you to the wonderful world of martial arts. Please feel free to browse our site to find answers to your questions about who we are and what we have to offer. Also, please feel free to contact us if you have additional questions.
